About CCDC

Comite Child Development Center is a non-profit facility and is a ministry of Comite Baptist Church. We know that every child is unique and the primary objective and purpose of CCDC is to train each child in the knowledge of God and the Christian way of life and to give the child an excellent education. Our administration and staff demonstrate a caring concern for each child under their care. Our teachers focus on building every child’s self esteem and confidence through positive feedback. We nurture their natural strengths. A child sees the world around them with wonder and awe, we believe in encouraging their natural curiosity. It is our desire to provide quality child care and a learning experience for each child that is loving, academically sound and biblically based.

We are located at 12250 Greenwell Springs Road (corner of Flannery Rd.) - conveniently located to Baton Rouge, Central and Denham Springs

All staff undergoes a background check before they are hired. They are also required to have training each year in learning licensing requirements, classroom management skills, CPR and first aid certification, and medical dispensing training. We also provide additional supports in helping our staff to identify possible developmental delays in young children and making sure each child is meeting the necessary milestones.
